My Long Forgotten Shawl

I found this shawl in a cupboard at my parent's house. I'd made it ages ago. It still looks beautiful and keeps warm in chilly spring evenings...

I crocheted it from thick yarn after unraveling one of my mom's old sweaters.

The pattern I used, if I remember well, was from a Croatian magazine "Vuna" ("Wool") from the 70's or 80's - my grandma's legacy. Unfortunately, I don't have the magazine anymore and, boy, would I like to make another one! Therefore, I started writing the pattern and it's here now for everyone else to make it...

And here is the one in white, made of cotton yarn. It was sold in Mexico City this year in an International Craft Fair :-)
